INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION

WELCOME INSTRUCTORS,
We are pleased and privileged to have you participate in our program with Community
Education.

- STUDENT LIST/CONTACT: You should receive a student list 3 days prior to class start. We ask that you contact the students to
remind them of start date and to welcome them. If you do not receive the student list contact us 250-537-0037, info@ssicommunityed.org or Program Manager, Pat Burkette (wordhook@yahoo.com).
- CLASS OUTLINE: On the first day it would be helpful to the students if you had an outline of what you intend to cover during the
course.
- SIGN IN: There will be a sign in sheet for every class, this is a requirement for our insurance. If a registered student doesn't show
up or an unregistered individual shows up, please contact us and let us know, it is up to you if you wish to add the individual to your class.
- VENUE: It is VERY IMPORTANT that you leave the venue in the condition that you found it. Especially, NEVER erase anything
off black/whiteboards.
- INCIDENT/ACCIDENT: Any injuries or damage to property must be detailed on the Incident Report
Form on the back of the sign-in sheet. Contact Registrar and deliver Incident Report to SS Books, School board office.
- CANCELLATIONS: In the event of class cancellations (snow, illness etc.) the Instructor will call students and notify the Registrar
(537-0037 or info@ssicommunityed.org) to reschedule the class.
- EVALUATIONS: Instructor and Student evaluations and sign-in sheets will be included in Instructor Package.
